I know that I haven't posted in a few days but IT'S STILL THE SCHOOL HOLIDAYS!!! Now don't get me wrong... I love my children and I love spending time with them but they iritate each other after a while and I become the referee. My DS is 3 and he just loves to touch his sister's precious drawings and creations... and then she is yelling at him to stop and then he start taunting her and then she starts crying... you get the idea.
I have absolutely loved not having to get up every morning, wake up the kids and get them dressed and fed by 7.45am... in fact my DS has even got into the habit of sleeping in a bit! I do love the school holidays for that reason alone!
So what have I been doing? Well I have made about 10 cards this week... here are a couple! I bought this set last year when I first became a SU demo but I have struggled to use it. I am determined to use it more.
For this card I used my So Saffron and Always Artichoke markers to colour the stamp.. it took a few goes to get it just how I liked it. I put it on top of a square of Le Jardin DSP and matted it in Artichoke and Saffron. I then used the So Swirly wheel on a piece of River Rock and added some Very Vanilla ribbon.
This card uses the same set. I have used Barely Banana, Bashful Blue, Pretty in Pink and Basic Black cardstock. I used the rock and roll technique on the flower and stamped the crosshatch stamp in Bashful on the blue square.
I am pleased with both of these cards and I have broken the block I had with this stamp set.

These are lovely Chrissie and I really like the colour combo's...may have to pull this set out soon as it's another I don't use often enough
These are both beautiful Chrissie. I haven't used this set in ages! (too many new ones I guess)
Especially like the first one Chrissie. The colours & layout work really well. Looks Like Spring was a fave of mine for ages, but I haven't used it in a while. Must get it out again!
All the best, Di :)
