Aleisha’s Card

On the weekend, I went on a stamping Retreat organised by my fantastic upline Kim!! I had a fabulous time stamping and giggling and eating and catching up with friends- some of who, I only ever see on retreat!

In the next few days I will be posting some of the projects I made but today I am going to show you one of the challenge cards I made. We had 3 challenges- some where really easy and some were not so easy. For this one, we were given a piece of Cameo Coral cardstock, 2 pieces of Pink Flamingo DSP and some brads and told to go for it. I made this card: Challenge Card

I layered the 2 pieces of DSP and made some paper flowers using Tempting Turquoise. I also added some Turquoise ribbon just to finish the card off! It was quick and easy to make and I had lots of lovely compliments!

So when I got home and was catching up on Facebook, my DD informed me that her teacher from last year (who is also one of my friends) was having her birthday tomorrow and she wanted to give her a present and a card! No problems, I said…I will whip something up for you tonight!! So I decided to make a matching box to put some chocolate in (‘cause chocolate is always a great present!!)  And here it is:

Challenge Box

I used the same colours and made a take away box! It was super quick and easy…which was good as I was super tired.

Challenge Set

I will be back later with some more projects!!
