Hung Up on the Holidays

Today was the last of my Christmas card classes at school. I kept my pattern of using just one set and a few colours only. For the 3 cards today, I used Hung Up on the Holidays and Old Olive, Real Red and Certainly Celery!

I cased this card from WillStamp4Food at SCS. I changed the stamp in the scallop a bit and used narrow grosgrain ribbon ('cause I hate trying to tie wide grosgain ribbon). We used Dashing DSP on a Celery cardbase.

Our second card was also cased from SCS but this time from KEA2004. I changed the colours to a Real Red cardbase with an Old Olive mat. Instead of putting the squares on a single olive mat... we matted ours on black individually. We also used Real Red ribbon and only used the baubles in our squares!

Our last card I cased from the fabulous Kristina Werner. I again changed the colours to only used Old Olive, Real Red and Certainly Celery. I used the new scallop edge punch (that will be available in the Summer Mini from December).

The girls loved all of the cards and it was fun making them.
Next week we will be making birthday cards... so stay tuned!
Cheers
Chrissie

I have to agree with Bec - clearly you have been hoarding all the Dashing DSP and Old Olive cardstock, LOL!

Love these cards! Again, very "clean and simple" in style without being plain. You are one talented chicky!
