Here are the two cards I made last night instead of doing school work.
The first one is for my niece Steph. I cased this from Nerine. I used the SAB set Birthday Whimsy. I love the colours- Bashful Blue, Regal Rose, Apricot Appeal and Certainly Celery.











The second one I saw on someone's blog but I cannot remember who? I have looked and looked but please, if you know who, I will gladly acknowledge her. (Edit: I finally found who!! Yeay..... it was Nerine! Same person I cased the card above from! Love her work!)The photo doesn't do it justice. It looks much better in real life.

Ok..so I was just blog surfing some of my favourite sites and my friend Susan had how much her blog was worth. Sadly... her blog was worth nothing. Well curiosity got the better of me and I decided to find out how much my blog was worth.

My blog is worth $2,258.16.
How much is your blog worth?

Yep that's right... over $2000. Why I don't know. I mean, my blog isn't that spectacular and I don't even blog on a regular basis. And I just love my friend Susan's blog so it doesn't make much sense to me. But there you have it! If you have a blog... give it a go and let me know what yours is worth! It is just a bit of fun!

OSW Kit

Here is the other One Sheet Wonder set of cards I have just finished. I stamped with the Birthday Wimsy Sale-a-bration set. The cardstock colours are Taken with Teal, Summer Sun and Only Orange. Love these bright colours together!

Cute Treat Container

I was just over at SCS and the Wednesday tutorial was for sour cream containers. I thought they were very cute and needed a little thank you for a collegue at work. Here is my first attempt at it. I am very pleased with the finished product and hope she will too.



I used the Friendship Blooms set (a Sale-a-bration set) and made a matching card.
The colours are More Mustard, Bravo Burgandy, Handsome Hunter and Night of Navy.

MIA

Sorry that I haven't posted in a while but I have returned to full time work s a music teacher at a primary school. It is a very large school of over 900 children whom I teach a music lesson to every week. A lot has changed in the 18 months since I left to go on leave. There have been changes to the way we deliver the curriculum and I have had to revamp my teaching to meet it. It has meant many late nights at the computer and reading all the relevant documents but I have nearly finished. Woo Hoo!!!
I have had some time to make some cards. This is an Emergency Birthday Card kit that I saw on SCS. They used a Simply Scrappin' Kit but I decided to use a One Sheet Wonder to do the same. I used the Time Well Spent set and Bashfull Blue, Pretty in Pink, Certainly Celery and Barely Banana cardstock. I am pleased with how it has turned out.




I have nearly finished another kit using brighter colours that are more suitable for the men in our lives. I will post pictures as soon as I have finished!
