Sea Street

When the catalogue launched in July, one of the first sets that I bought was Sea Street. I just loved the little fishies and the octopus and the lobsters and the starfish.....ahh.....so much to love.

I sat down with the stamp set and quickly made these 3 cards.

What I love so much about these cards that they are good for the males in our lives....big and small alike.  And you can use any colour combinations to suit the occasion.

Christmas Cards

I love Christmas and I love making Christmas cards...though sometimes I do get a little slack with sending them. I have started making cards to send to my family and friends. These cards are also the ones I will teach how to make in my monthly classes in the next few months.

One of the stamp sets in the new mini catalogue is called Endless Wishes and while I am not usually someone who would buy a snowflake stamp...I really like this one. It has lots of lovely words as well as 3 snowflake images.

While the 3 cards are similar, I have used a few different products on each to make each card a bit special. And the best thing about these cards is that they took no time at all to make.

New Catalogue....New projects

I love the new catalogue from Stampin’ Up! There are just so many new products and endless ideas. One of the projects that caught my eye was on page 151….so I decided that I would make my own version of the gift box. I used the colours from the Moonlight DSP Stack to decide my colour palette of Blackberry Bliss, Hello Honey and Sahara Sand. I love how easy the Mixed Bunch stamp set with it’s matching punch made completing this project.

My Baby turns 10!

In March my DD turned 10. I really don’t know where the years have gone! It just seems like yesterday she was born!!

When she asked me what kind of card I was going to make for her, I said I didn’t know but if she wanted to pick some colours I would make one using them. My DS also wanted me to make a card for him to give to his sister…so I had 2 to make!

Can you guess what her favourite colour is? Do you think she is fond of bling? LOL

The first card is the one I made for my son to give! I did use a little bit of retired products on it but it just added to the pinkness of the card!

The second one is the one from me and her dad!

Needless to say she loved them and they are still displayed on her duchess!!

Colour Refresh

colour

Three years ago when Stampin’ Up! had their big colour change, they told us then that they would be making some changes to the colour families every 2-3 years…well that time has come! To keep up with the colour trends, some of the colours are going, some are staying and some are coming back!  I for one, am very excited!!I love new things and I was feeling sad at the thought of losing some of my favourite colours….I really didn’t want to say goodbye to Calypso Coral and Pool Party!! And now I don’t have to!

Simply click here to see how the new colour collections are going to look. I know you are going to love them!

And remember that once the retiring colours are out of stock in the warehouse, then they will be available no more. You can order on line here or contact me to place your order for you.
