I had my catalogue launch today. It was lovely to be able to share the new catalogue and make 2 projects with the ladies.

Stamp-a-Stack
A stamp-a-stack is a great way to make a heap of cards in a short amount of time. This month we are making thank you and sympathy cards. I hope you like them.

Centre Stage
Tonight I am at Centre Stage-Stampin' Up!'s celebration for it's leaders. We are spoilt with lovely nibblies and a gorgeous notebook. I love that I can spend time with my upline and learn from other demonstators who are running successful businesses. The view from my room is also pretty amazing!

New Catalogue
The new catalogue is here and it is just FABULOUS! I know I say this every year but it is true. There are so many lovely new products that you are sure to find something in there that you will just have to have.
Some of the highlights in the catalogue are the kits. Two in particular are the Cottage Greetings Card kit and the Tin of Cards project kit.
Both kits make it so easy to make a set of cards quickly. They both come with everything cut out and all you need is a stamp set to complete the projects. You use a stamp set that you have already or can choose the stamp set that is designed to go with them-Cottage Greeting Stamp Set and Tin of Cards Stamp set.
I am eagerly awaiting the arrival of both these kits when my order arrives next week.
If you would like to receive a copy of the new catalogue free of charge, contact me and I will pop one in the mail for you.
cheers
Chrissie

World Cardmaking Day
The first Saturday in October each year is World Cardmaking Day- a day to celebrate all things paper! For the last 5 years I have held a charity day to raise money for the Chicks in Pink- a group who support women with breast cancer.
This year, the day had 2 sessions. In the morning session, the ladies made Christmas boxes and tags.
In the afternoon session, the ladies made 16 Christmas cards.
Everyone seemed to have a great day and I was so happy that I could spend the day with a lovely bunch of ladies and be creative. I am also excited to say that we were able to raise $600 for the Chicks in Pink. So a big thank you to all that came and supported my day.
Cheers

Weekly Deals
Sea Street
When the catalogue launched in July, one of the first sets that I bought was Sea Street. I just loved the little fishies and the octopus and the lobsters and the starfish.....ahh.....so much to love.
I sat down with the stamp set and quickly made these 3 cards.
What I love so much about these cards that they are good for the males in our lives....big and small alike. And you can use any colour combinations to suit the occasion.

Christmas Cards
I love Christmas and I love making Christmas cards...though sometimes I do get a little slack with sending them. I have started making cards to send to my family and friends. These cards are also the ones I will teach how to make in my monthly classes in the next few months.
One of the stamp sets in the new mini catalogue is called Endless Wishes and while I am not usually someone who would buy a snowflake stamp...I really like this one. It has lots of lovely words as well as 3 snowflake images.
While the 3 cards are similar, I have used a few different products on each to make each card a bit special. And the best thing about these cards is that they took no time at all to make.
